Most comfortable moped style ebike.

Yes I purchased this bike a few weeks ago,the shipping was fast. I purchased it 2a.m eastern time. It was shipped a like 6 hrs later and was easy to assemble. The charger and pedals where missing but after contacting the company. They sent it in the mail. I love this bike it's really smooth, comfortable and stylish. The dual headlights are really bright at night and gives the bike a great look. As is the tail break light. I went from a 350watt ebike to this. So I'm loving the bike. The dual suspension gives a much more comfortable ride. The seat is fairly comfortable and makes long rides very tolerable. The motor is very powerful and I hear a lot of people say they don't peddle on these kind of ebikes. Well I'm 5.6 and the peddle assist is very smooth and comfortable and easy to ride. I like the full throttle compared to other bikes half throttle. I also purchased a rear rack which gives it even more of a classic cafe racer Look. Look all in all this bike is just different. As there first moped style ebike I would say they did a great job. I upgraded the 160 rotors to 180s and will put hydraulic brakes next. The range is more then what I expected. I've put 50 miles on 1 charge (dual batteries version) and still went home with more then half my batterie life. Thank you Engwe for sending the items out, the fast shipping and a comfortable and great looking ebike with long range and powerful motor.

Great bike

This is my fourth ebike I have purchase since 2020 and I’m not even going to lie when I tell you this one by far is my favorite. It’s a beautiful bike and competes pretty good with other brands like Super 73 accept for this bike is half the price as Super 73 and it sure goes the distance.

Great bike

This is a sturdy and good-looking bike with a fantastic range and strong motor! It arrived in good packaging with easy to follow assembly instructions. Would recommend getting a kryptonite lock and an AirTag since e-bike theft is on the rise

Worth it!

M20 Dual Battery

Shipping was great! Packaged well.
Installation was a okay as well, took 30mins. One of their bolts stripped. Had to get a new one. Should give extra just Incase that happens.

This thing is awesome! Love the retro style. Love that it’s a dual battery. I haven’t pushed its limit to 45miles/battery, 90+ for both batteries..but I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually did those numbers. I also haven’t reached 28mph yet, but again, I don’t feel the need to. This is my summer daily commuter to work. And I don’t live far. Saves me money on gas.

I will though, next year buy a hitch for my car and should be able to take it more into the mountains(Denver). It definitely cannot fit in my hatchback, trailer hitch needed.

I suggest putting an alarm on it(Amazon) and an AirTag, so it’s a better peace of mind for you. And also a chain for the moments you leave it while you’re inside somewhere. There are other theft devices out there, just look around.

I also added more bike lights for the night time(Amazon). And read red taillights, for safety.

All in all - 10/10 for the look and amazing price.

M20 1000 mile review

This is my 1000 mile review for the Engwe M20 ebike. First off, right out the box the bike is good but because it's a budget level bike it definitely has room for improvement. First off, the rear shock isn't really right for this bike, it's only 750 spring pounds, this bike needs more like 1000 spring pounds, so I swapped stock rear shock for an air ride adjustable shock, huge gigantic difference. I don't know if my headlights were lemons, but in addition to being all big and goofy looking the didn't light up nothing past like 6 inches so those got replaced with stand alone rechargeable headlights that put out a true 10k lumen of soft white light. Next change was the battery, I had the big 22 amp/hour triangle battery so that went on, I ride close to 30 miles a day to get to work and back so I needed the extra capacity cause I ain't riding around on power level one, that's for sure. So, now on to speed and the speedometer. Check your speedo setting cause my bike came from factory set to 24 inch wheel, not 20, in the speedo which will give you false speed readings, as in you are going about 5 mph slower than you think, this being said, it's a zippy little ride but I needed a bit more speed, so, my M20 is now a dual motor M20, I added a 1000w front hub motor and set up to run the front motor off twist throttle and rear motor via pedal assist. Now, I can cruise at a real 35 mph no problem, up to 42 or 43 if I pedal my ass off, which I don't, I use the second motor to climb inclines with no problem and for instant acceleration, I can go from 0 to 35 in like 3 seconds. This brings me to my last upgrades, I ride on pavement only, it's my city commute, so I threw on the brown wall slicks made by choa yang, super heavy duty tubes and tires liners from bakcou, and hydraulic calipers and new rotors from Shimano S-ram. Overall, without doing anything to it this is a quality ebike. You can buy it, charge it, and ride it for many enjoyable miles. On the other hand, if your a dude, or dudette, like me, this is a great starting point to transform it into what you want. Last point I will touch on is overall styling and rideability. As you can see, it's just a really cool looking bicycle, it's kinda small, I'm only 5 foot 8 and I feel like I'm riding a little BMX bike, the way the seat is angled is kinda weird and is definitely not the best position to pedal in, but I mostly ride throttle on, only pedal when I am sitting still to get up to speed or up an incline so for me that's not a huge deal but if your gonna be trail riding and using pedal assist alot it might be an issue for you. I've put over 1000 miles on it in like 7 wee
