This is my first Ebike so far I am loving it the only downside is I wish it had a bigger battery so I could go further as it is great fun to ride the furthest i have got on 1 charge using pedal assist 1 is 33mile considering i am 15st 4lbs I think that's pretty good it also takes me up any hill I have thrown at it so far my top speed was 26mph on flat road and thats good enough fir me 👍 loving it 😃

Really like it. Carries my heavy 250 pounds to 50 kph on flats quickly with no problem. Smooth gradual acceleration. Always set pedal assist to 1 to start out - it has power! Pedal assist 1 I use gears 1-3, pa2 gears 4 & 5, pa3 gears 6 & 7, pedal assist 4 & 5 pedal really fast. The pedal assist top out at increasing speeds and twist throttle matches the pedal assist max speed level. Orange is cool and overall fit and finish is niiice. Brakes are strong and not mushy. Like the click shifter which shifts higher one gear at a time with the click shifter and down shifts to any lower gear with the thumb shift lever. Relatively smooth downshift which is important when you need more human power like a regular cyclist. I moved the bell to the right so I could mount phone holder on the left. I had some setup notes/problems - The boxing seemed OK but the front fork shipping bolt had fallen out before arrival but the forks were straight and undamaged so that was not an impactful issue. Cant figure out how to change display from kph to mph. I fixed all the real problems and all is good now: 1) there were welding and drill burrs inside the battery housing that required smoothing with grinder or file to allow the battery to slide in and out easily. 2) the derailleur guard was bent in due to shipping/boxing and prevented shifting past 2. Simply pulled out the guard and now it shifts quick and smooth up and down. 3) front brake squeaking required a little more time and tinkering to reset the cable a little longer and reset the brake caliper alignment. The folding latches are very secure. I had trouble figuring out the keys setting and power on button but those were my fault. It is easy to pedal without power in lower gears. Over all this was the best bike for the money and I am happy with the performance, features and quality.

This is my 3rd ebike and I love my Engwe the most. It’s sturdy, well built, and a pleasure to ride. Its also a striking looking bike and a head turner wherever I take it. It has been able to deal with any hill I threw at it so can’t fault it in any way. With the few minor upgrades I did like seat post shock absorber, hybrid brakes and an 11-34 flywheel it has no competition in its category.

This is my first electric bike and I took a couple of months looking around before I opted for this bike. I have used it several times, mostly short trips of less then 2 miles. The bike is well built, looks good, comfortable to ride and quick, even for a short guy I have no problem, I am 5 foot 2in. The price is good up against other bikes. Really pleased with it so far and have no complaints would highly recommend
