ENGWE L20 2.0

The bike surprised me with the amount of power, and the suspension. The bike was great, I took it down some gravel roads around 12mph and hit some 6-in deep potholes. Went over them like they weren't even there with a 230 lb rider. Reached out to customer service after I had made the order and asked if they could switch out the color, they we're very quick to respond. Switch the color out and gave me some extra goodies. I really like that it shipped out of California instead of China which is where I thought it was going to be coming from. Excellent customer service was quick to respond. Would definitely purchase from them again, great company imo.

Bought two, one for me and one for my wife. We're a retired couple and having a blast with these bikes. Easy to assemble, easy to ride! Bike is solid and comfortable. Bike has fantastic features for the price - hard to beat.

We purchased two L20 2.0 ebikes a few months ago on a pre-sale discounted price and absolutely love them. The assembly was relatively easy, the protective packaging was very good and the quality of the ebikes is excellent so far. Since my wife and I are 60+ years old we really like the power assist when needed, we may not always use the electric mode but it's nice to have after a long ride in the 90 degree F Florida heat. As for the battery life, it is amazing, so far we have 70 miles on each bike and I haven't charged the battery in over a month and it's still 3/4 charged, of course it all depends on how much you use it but so far it lasts a long time. The features are nice, the fat tires and suspension helps to absorb rough roads and bumps, the disk brakes work well, the display is just the right size and the overall ebike size is good for adults. We are still struggling to find a comfortable seat but that will improve with time. The L20 2.0 includes front and back racks which most ebikes charge extra, it also has LED lights to include a brake light when applying the brakes. We lost a plastic extension off the bottom of the kickstand because the bolt was loose and I didn't notice it, so I reached out to Engwe via email and they responded within 24 hours and shipped the part from China which took about 10 days, apparently there are no parts locally in the USA. The good news here is that they responded, sent the new part and solved my minor problem in a reasonable amount of time. These ebikes are portable as advertised, they fold up nicely but can be a bit heavy, I have no issues loading them into my SUV but I know my wife cannot lift them, so I wouldn't consider them to be light weight. In summary, we love this ebike and would recommend them based on my experience so far and you can't beat the price, good value for the money.

I never usually leave reviews unless I really love or dislike something. But this e-bike surprised me. When I found myself with just one bar of battery left and still 6.8 miles away from home, I never expected to make it back without needing an Uber. Yet, I made a bet with my gf that if I managed to get home with the remaining battery, I'd write a review for Engwe. Well, here I am. I rode those last 6.8 miles in third gear. The torque on this bike is impressive, boasting 75NM, and the power is outstanding. Even when tackling hills in third gear, I barely noticed a difference. I managed a full 32 miles on a single charge, mostly on throttle and stage 5 assistance in between. For daily use, pedal level 3 with 7 gears is more than enough to zip around. Couldn't be happier with the experience! ^^

I ordered my L20 2.0 in mid April. It was on backorder until the end of April and it did ship when it said it would. I was anxiously watching the FedEx tracking in anticipation of it's arrival. Long story short the tracking stopped at a hub in Illinois...I waited a few days and it didn't move. I contacted FedEx and after giving them all the information I could I was told that it could not be located and I needed to contact Engwe. I was so disappointed and concerned because I had read the reviews about their terrible customer service. I can happily say that I received very good customer service. They did make me wait a little longer just to be sure it wasn't located but their communication was good and they eventually did send another bike. I am happy to report that I did receive that shipment and I could not be happier! I was even impressed with how the bike was packaged. They secured it very well to prevent any damage during shipping. Assembly was relitively easy. I love the sea green color! This is my first electric bike, I took it for a ride around our neighborhood which is pretty hilly and the hills were no longer so challenging! My only minor critique would be that I wish the seat could be adjusted just a little lower, I am 5'2" and can barely touch the ground at the lowest setting. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and with Engwe's customer service. I have already recommended these bikes to some friends.
